Description - What to expect
ONE DAY COURSESDuring the one-day paragliding course, you will learn the basic skills required to take off and land followed at the end of the day by a tandem flight, where you can take the controls and learn the basics of controlling the glider in the air whilst in the safety of flying with a qualified FSVL tandem pilot.
TWO AND THREE-DAY COURSES
Your two and three-day paragliding courses will build on the skills you learned during the first day but now with the objective of flying as much as possible. By the end of the second day, you can expect to be ready for your first solo flight whilst guided over the radio by an instructor. First solo flights are usually done on the morning of the third day.
Students start to fly solo when their instructor considers them to be ready; this can vary from student to student. Although it is possible to start flying solo on the second day, we recommend that you book a 3-day course to be sure that you are ready for solo flights.
Anyone from the age of 14yrs or over can take part in these beginner paragliding courses and begin to discover the wonderful world of flying.
OBJECTIVE
For complete paragliding beginners to discover the world of paragliding, including learning how to take-off, understanding the equipment, and experiencing a tandem flight.
