Description - What to expect

Heraklion will enchant you with its charms and its striking colors that make it a perfect place for practicing your photography skills. Walk through the city and take the best photos of the city on a full-day tour and capture monuments and typical scenes, such as the statue of Eleftherios Venizelos and the green doors of the narrow streets.

Discover the grave of the famous writer, Nikos Kazantzakis, and walk to the imposing Church of Agios Minas. Join the locals in the fish market to take photos of everyday life. Continue to Lions Square and see the beautiful Cathedral of Agios Titos. Take photos of beautiful buildings, such as the Loggia, and walk over to Koules Fortress to learn how it is still haunted by the legend of rebels tortured in its dark rooms.

Your experienced guide will point out details hidden to the untrained eye and find opportunities for creative shots. The tour will end with a visit to the CretAquarium in Gouves, one of the best in Europe, to marvel at the marine life of the Mediterranean.
