Kalymnos, just off the coast of Turkey in Asia Minor, boasts picturesque valleys, charming fishing villages, and relaxing beaches, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The waters around the island are a haven for sponge divers, which has earned the island the nickname “Island of the Sponge Divers.”Kalymnos diving is a unique experience that divers should not miss. For those that already have experience in diving, this is the perfect chance to improve their skills and dive in some excellent spots around the island. You will dive to a maximum depth of 24 meters admiring the beauties of the underwater world, including a dive to the famous Open Cave.
Before your Kalymnos diving, you will be briefed by your experienced instructor, and given guidance and instructions on how to use your scuba diving equipment, as well as about the specific diving spot you will dive. Feel the thrill of diving in crystalline, high visibility waters, and admire the magical Aegean sea. Enter the famous Open Cave to watch the sunlight entering the Cave, creating a theatre-like light performance.
