Description - What to expect

Your Tuscany ballooning starts with a convenient pick-up from your hotel and a drive in a comfortable and spacious Mercedes vehicle to the Chianti region where cypresses, gentle hills, and lush vineyards will be your travel companions.

You will arrive at your destination about 30 minutes before the start of your Tuscany hot air balloon flight and you will be welcomed by our crew. Watch the preparations and if you are a passionate photographer will have the best time, as you will admire these majestic creatures slowly inflating, as the flames dance in the dawn.

Once the balloon is inflated and the pilot ensures the flying conditions are safe, you will be asked to enter the basket. Once safely inside the basket, your pilot will give you a full briefing and explain what to expect during the flight and landing. Now you are ready to take off!

Enjoy the beautiful Tuscany landscape and the city of Florence from above. Your Tuscany ballooning will last approximately 60 minutes, and you will gradually ascend as high as 2,000 feet (609 meters). The view from above will take your breath away! Enjoy Tuscany and Florence skylines and appreciate their beauty from above. The landscape is dotted by endless cypresses, rolling hills, countless rows of vineyards, and olive groves, not to mention the view of Brunelleschi's Cupola from afar.

The night before your scheduled hot air balloon experience, we will send you a message confirming the exact pickup time at your hotel in Florence. It varies as the sun rises earlier or later during different times of the year, but as a general rule, we take off with sunrise, so expect to be early!
◾ Your private pilot will prepare you for landing. This is a really enjoyable part of the balloon experience, it's different every time, it can be very gentle, or you can have a slight adrenaline rush, it all depends on the wind on that specific day. Our crew will always let you know in advance if it's going to be a little rowdy, we've done this many times before! This is truly one of the best things to do in Florence!
