No previous experience is required for this Crete kayaking tour. Please be aware that there is a limit on weight regarding the hull of our kayaks, and thus we can't accept participants that are above 110kg/240lbs/17stonesWhere we will meet
We will meet at our base at Ilingas beach at 10.00 am. There is plenty of free secure parking if you are traveling in your car. You should arrive in Chania or Heraklion city the day before. The closest airport with a bus connection is from Chania town. Check out the following link for the exact meeting point. Bring a 2lt of water with you (ideally in small bottles), sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit, lycra shirt, or any t-shirt, preferably with UV protection. You will also need shoes that you do not mind getting soaked as you will get your feet wet. Ideally, a light neoprene shoe will work great.Depending on the season bring appropriate clothing. A rain jacket can be handy for early spring and Autumn and of course during the winter. You will also need a head torch, a sleeping bag, mosquito repellent, and any essential medication you may need.

◾ Your host, Enjoy-Crete, has the best kayaking equipment in Greece and one of the best in Europe so be sure you will have the best!◾ Tandem kayaks are also available for those who prefer to paddle as a duo
◾ There are several tavernas in Agia Roumeli (the village where we will stop overnight) to have dinner
◾ During the kayaking, we will stop for lunch along the coast to enjoy a local meal in a taverna alternatively bring your lunch with you
