Overview
Take a Tromso dog sledding tour and live an unforgettable adventure in the pristine arctic landscape Breivikeidet near Tromsø. Let the friendly husky dogs pull you across the snow and get the chance to be in control of your own sled. No previous experience is required.

Description - What to expect
Dog sled has been used for travel and hunting for centuries throughout the Arctic region. Dog sledding consists of a musher, a sled, and one or more dogs. Be part of an authentic Arctic adventure when driving your own team of dogs on the outskirts of Tromsø. You'll get some great advice from your guide to help you have a wonderful experience as a musher and become one with nature. All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles.Start your Tromso deg sledding adventure with a pickup from Tromsø city center and then a 50 minutes drive to Aurora Alps through incredible arctic landscapes including fjords, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and picturesque villages. Upon your arrival at Breivikeidet base, you will meet your guide receiving useful advice and tips about controlling the dog sled and you will be given warm clothing and winter boots to wear.
Now you are ready for your1.5-hour experience on the frozen landscape. Jump aboard the sled and yell to make the dogs move. Feel the interaction between the friendly dogs and those on the sled as you ride along. Two guests will be sharing the same sled and we'll stop along the way to switch 'mushers' (drivers).
After your experience is over enjoy a delicious snack accompanied by tea or coffee before you are driven back to Tromsø where your adventure will have come to an end.
