Description - What to expect
Spend a day in the forest near Athens exploring the National Park of Mount Parnitha. Your Athens hiking starts with a pick-up from your hotel and a drive to Parnitha National Park for a 6 km hiking experience. This is an easy route ideal for families and children. For most of the hike, you will be walking among dense fir forest.You will move by the springs of Koromilia and Mesiano Nero until you reach the plateau of Mola. There you have the chance to rest for a bit and maybe encounter some red deer passing by. Along the way, you will have plenty of opportunities for photo shooting and resting. After resting head back to Bafi Mountain Shelter to enjoy a delicious Greek lunch with some spectacular views of the Attica plateau. Your Athens hiking trip ends with a transfer back to your accommodation.
