Your Lake Nakuru day trip starts early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi between 6.30 am, and 7.00 am. Drive away from the busy Nairobi heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park, a distance covered approximately in 2.5 hours. Make a short stop at the Lake Nakuru observation point for striking views of the Great Rift Valley.



Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, depart for a 4-hour game drive. Admire a remarkable spectacle of abundant bird life in this magnificent lake of the Great Rift Valley. During the tour, watch for wild animals grazing along the shore. Lake Nakuru is home to more than a million pink flamingos feeding in the shallow warm waters of the lake.



Before your Lake Nakuru day trip comes to an end and your departure back to Nairobi, break for lunch at one of the lodges in the Park, enjoying panoramic views of the lake and the surroundings. Leave the Park around 14:00 to arrive back in Nairobi for hotel drop-off at around 17:00.
