Niagara Falls tour itinerary

◾ Day 1: NEW YORK – FINGER LAKES – NIAGARA FALLS
Your air-conditioned van or bus departs from the Big Apple and heads north, passing the beautiful Delaware Water Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to visit the beautiful waterfalls and then continue to Niagara Falls passing Seneca Lake, arriving in the late afternoon (winter itinerary goes to Montour Falls instead of Watkins Glen State Park). Tour the US side of Niagara including the American Falls, Goat Island, and Luna Island. At night enjoy Niagara Falls and appreciate the colorful lighting of the waters. Overnight: US -Microtel Inn and Suites Niagara Falls/Comfort Inn The Pointe.

◾ Day 2: NIAGARA FALLS – NEW YORK
After enjoying a continental breakfast at the hotel, head to the thundering water of Niagara Falls. See both the Niagara and the Horseshoe Falls up close and experience their true power from the Maid of the Mist, available from May to October. In April, when the Maid of the Mist is not operating, take a tour of the Power Vista Hydro-Electric Station, along with a visit to the Cave of the Winds.

Around noon, it's time to head south and back to New York City. Stretch your legs in a more urban area, with a shopping excursion at one of the large outlet malls along the way. Then, relax as the van or bus takes you back to the city in time for you to grab a late dinner.
