Meet your professional photographer and guide at Lucerne's Torbogen Monument in front of the train station and begin your Mount Rigi tour. The journey starts with a ride through Lake Lucerne towards Vitznau. Then, board Europe's first-ever mountain railway up to Rigi-Kulm.From Rigi Kulm walk a short slope to the top and enjoy a 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps to the South & East and country view on a clear day of France on the West and the Black Forest in Germany to the North. Your expert guide will take you to the best locations around Mount Rigi to get the best photoshopping opportunity. He will also offer insight into the area's history and traditions
After being inspired by jaw-dropping Alpine Vistas at Rigi Kulm, take the 1-hour walking trail “Rigi Classic” down to “Rigi Kaltbad”. This easy, high-altitude walk features magnificent views over the Swiss plateau to the Black Forest, and the Alps, as well as a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug.
You could also descent riding a sled instead of walking down the classic trail if you want to, either way, you will enjoy the panoramic view over Central Switzerland and the stunning winter Alpine Landscape. This is just the perfect setting for an unforgettable swiss experience!
From Rigi Kaltbad descent on an aerial cable car. The Rigi Kaltbad – Weggis “Gondola” floats high above the forest, offering views right down to Lake Lucerne and as far as the majestic peaks of the Bernese Alps, including the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Gasp as you rest your eyes on striking, snow-smothered panoramas of the Swiss Alps followed by a leisurely boat ride (45 min) to Lucerne, and then set out to discover the important monuments and pretty attractions of the city.
