Within the walls, there are also remnants of a chapel devoted to Saint John, where you can see amazing 16th-century wall paintings.

Then, have a lunch break in Eleousa village you move on passing from Saint Nektarios church famous for the ancient plane tree standing in front of the church. Continue driving to the East until you arrive at Kalithea Springs, a majestic place known from ancient times for its beneficial properties and the waters gushing from the rocks around.

Nowadays, completely restored and tastefully refurbished, the complex of Kallithea Springs welcomes hundreds of visitors daily.
